Reynolds, Graham George

Graham George Reynolds enlisted with the 5th University Company and joined the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in the field 18 June 1916. He was wounded 29 October 1917 and was Mentioned in Dispatches for his actions at Passchendaele. Promoted to Captain he was later Struck Off Strength to Khaki University 25 February 1919, to continue the studies in Theology that he had been pursuing at the University of Saskatchewan prior to the War. After graduation he returned to Canada and entered the Anglican Church. He was the Rector of Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Edmonton in 1938 and passed away in December 1941.

Carvosso, James

51116 James Husband Carvosso was born 19 June 1891 in Dartford, Kent, England and immigrated to Canada in 1910. He enlisted as a Private with the 23rd Battalion 3 November 1914 and joined the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in the field 1 March 1915. He rose in rank quickly due to prior officer training and was commissioned as a Lieutenant 16 October 1916 (eventually making Acting Captain). He was wounded 5 times before being accidentally injured 14 April 1918. He served with the Regiment through the remainder of the First World War and was Struck Off Strength 20 March 1919. He received the Military Cross for his actions at Vimy Ridge and the Bar to the MC for actions during the Final Advance to Mons. Following the War he remained with the Regiment, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before he retired in 1942. Lieutenant Colonel Carvosso passed away 10 April 1977.

Waddell, A. D.

Lieutenant Alphonse Etienne Thedore Paquet enlisted for overseas service with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry 1 September 1939. He was Struck Off Strength to the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Depot 1 November 1939. Promoted to Captain and then Major he did not join the Regiment overseas until 21 January 1941. He sailed with the Regiment to Sicily in 1943 where he was wounded 27 July 1943 while in command of D Company and Struck Off Strength the same day.

Schaen, Andrew

Andrew Schaen # 16110 joined the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry 12 September 1939 and was promoted to Company Quarter Master Sergeant later on in the Second World War. He was a member of 14 Platoon Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry deployed in the Village of Telscombe during the Battle of Britain 1941-1942. He was Struck Off Strength 4 May 1945.

Melton, Michael J.

M800074 Mike Melton was a Private with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, Second Battalion, B Company, 5 and 6 Platoon from 17 August 1950 to May 1951. He was with the Battalion at the Battle of Kapyong, Korea, 24-25 April 1951.

Melnechuk, Michael

M 800158 Michael Melnechuck joined the Second Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry 15 August 1950 as Acting Sergeant. He was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to C Company, 8 Platoon by November 1950. Prior to the Battle of Kapyong 24/25 April 1951 he was promoted to Company Quartermaster Sergeant.
