Thomas Fargher Christian was born 2 May 1895 in Ramsey on the Isle of Man and immigrated to Canada in 1912. Working as a labourer in Lethbridge, Alberta, he joined the 13th Canadian Mounted Rifles 5 February 1915. #552392 Private Christian transferred to the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry 21 September 1916. Promoted to Lance Corporal 31 March 1917, he was wounded 9 July 1917 and Struck Off Strength 20 July 1917. He remained in England convalescing and then as as part of the Reserve until 23 June 1919 when he returned to Canada. He demobilized 7 July 1919 and worked for the Canadian Pacific Railroad after the War. He passed away in December 1983
