Biografie

H17000 Harry D. Lyndon joined the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in the field on 28 November 1941 as a Private and was promoted to Lance Corporal soon after. He was wounded on 28 December 1943 and was Struck Off Strength due to his wounds. He died on March 14, 2002 and was buried in Regina, Saskatchewan.

The fonds contains 19 photographs and photocopies of 4 pages from a photograph album, all depicting members of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Italy during the Second World War. Also included are 12 photographs of the Colonel-In-Chief's visit to Currie Barracks, Calgary 1977, newsclippings of the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Italy, a leaflet on German words of command and various bank notes and military script.

The four pages of photocopies from a photograph album appear to be specifically related to John Moore. H16760 John Moore joined the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry 22 May 1940. Promoted to Lance Corporal he served in England, Sicily, Italy and North West Europe and was Struck Off Strength 23 June 1945.
