CWO Richardson collected a number of records and photos from Korean pilgrimages in the 80s and 90s and veterans’ reunions. Most photos are unlabeled. He also kept articles and scrapbooks/copied stories concerning his military peers. Additional materials cover RSM Richard George Buxton, Jack LaChance, and Bob Coulter. Includes his will and information about his funeral service.

CWO Richardson kept extensive news clippings for the time of his service in Korea and through the 1950s, as well as numerous well-labeled photographs from this period. He also kept key service files that provide an outline of his career progression including courses taken and qualifications earned, as well as dates of service. The series includes stories and articles on other soldiers, including Jack LaChance and Bob Coulter. Items of note include telegraphs notifying his mother of his being wounded, newsclippings on the DCM award, and original letters from his time in hospital.

This series contains correspondence, letters from the front, stories, manuscripts, newsclippings, programmes, pamphlets, booklets, weapon and marksmanship manuals and postcards organized into distinct collections primarily by subject, media or creator. Regimental Archives staff compiled some collections, while others were collected and donated by individuals. Subjects include Regimental History, the Sicilian Campaign, Korean POWs and the Croatia Board of Inquiry. Individual collections include the W. E. Bastedo Collection, the B. A. J. Franklin Collection, the Letters of Major Stanley Jones, the L. A. White Collection and the S. Trache Collection. Media includes artwork and magazines. Photographs include the King’s visit, 1939, Ypres, Belgium and Albert, France.
