The fonds contains a Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Depot equipment ledger (1917); vouchers and correspondence regarding Depot supplies (Feb.-Aug. 1918); personal accounts of the Battle of Mount Sorrel (June 1916) by Pte. R.A. Muir and Sgt. J. Louis Robertson; report on the Battle of Canal du Nord (Sept. 27-Oct 1, 1918) by Capt. J.W. Edgar. Includes a diary (gift of Princess Patricia) covering the year 1918. Includes addressed postcards (Feb. 1915-Nov. 1916) largely written to Colonel and Mrs. Irwin during Lieutenant Irwin's convalescence and depicting scenes of Newcastle and Ramsgate. Includes 67 unmailed postcards showing scenes of France before and after the War.
