The fonds contains qualification certificates, citation letters and newsclippings detailing the career of Ashworth Thomas Clifton and the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Korea. Also included are various photographs of parachute training, Arctic maneuvers and the First Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Korea 1951-1952.

The fonds consists of photographs documenting George Smith's military career, most of them from the Korean War (1950-1953); a scrapbook documenting his post-1950 military career, including 2PPCLI newsletters (1950-1957), newsclippings (1951-1982), programs for ceremonial events, autographs, North Korean propaganda, Japanese currency, and materials from PPCLI veterans' reunions (1964, 1976); a card autographed by veterans of the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment; 17 scrapbooks of newsclippings of military news and opinion, mostly from Calgary newspapers (1963-1996); and one file of loose newsclippings (1995-1996).
