Includes researched reports on the events of the Battle of KapYong; and a copy of Gray's book Beyond the Danger Close.

Includes LCol Jim Stone's Order of the Day at the outset of the 2nd Battalion's deployment (1950 Nov 19); Charles Petrie's account of the Battle of KapYong (1951 Apr 25-26) based on his field notes and diary (1951 Mar 28-May 6); pass and photographs of the opening of armistice talks (1951 Oct 22); menu and magazine from Christmas Day spent in the British Commonwealth Hospital Kure; shipping schedule, Kure-Pusan; newsclippings; photographs; slides; and North Korean propaganda, safe conduct passes, and soldiers' documents.

PPCLI Colonels of the Regiment photo collection

The honorary title of Colonel of the Regiment (CoR) of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) was initiated by the Regimental Executive Committee (REC) in October 1958, with permission of Army Headquarters. The title was limited to serving or retired officers of PPCLI holding the rank of Colonel or higher. The CoR participated in parades and other ceremonies, and was an ex officio member of the REC. The founder of the Regiment, Brigadier-General A. Hamilton Gault, was the first to hold the title, however, he died in the same month as his appointment, November 1958. He was succeeded by Major-General Cameron Bethel Ware, who held the title from 1959 to 1977. Thereafter, Colonels of the Regiment were appointed for 3-year terms, which could be renewed once. The collection consists of formal portraits of Colonels of the Regiment, and photos of them in ceremonial and other situations. The photos are grouped into series by their names in consecutive order: Cameron Bethel Ware, George Grenville Brown, William Benjamin Scott Sutherland, Reginald Stuart Graham, Herbert Chesley Pitts, C. William Hewson, A.J.G.D. de Chastelain, Robert I. Stewart, J.E.L. Gollner, Raymond R. Crabbe, W. Brian Vernon, Vincent W. Kennedy. Includes Col. Sutherland's collection of historical photos.

This collection consists of photographs of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) activities from 1939 to 1945. The Regiment performed guard duty in England, and saw action in Sicily, Italy, and Holland. The collection Includes action shots, souvenir postcards, and group portraits created and collected by members of the Regiment.

Conrad Stephens fonds

The fonds consists of Conrad Stephens' memorabilia from the Dumbells, the musical and comedy troupe formed by the 3rd Canadian Division during the First World War which amalgamated with the PPCLI Comedy Company. After the War the troupe continued to tour Canada and the United States until 1929. Consists predominantly of publicity photos and portraits of the performers, many of them autographed. Includes a portrait of Stephens in his wartime uniform, a portrait of him as a veteran in the 1950s, and newsclippings about a reunion concert of the PPCLI Comedy Company mounted in 1955.
