Seaforth Highlanders of CanadaThis collection consists of photographs of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) activities from 1939 to 1945. The Regiment performed guard duty in England, and saw action in Sicily, Italy, and Holland. The collection Includes action shots, souvenir postcards, and group portraits created and collected by members of the Regiment.

3 PPCLIThis series contains correspondence, letters from the front, stories, manuscripts, newsclippings, programmes, pamphlets, booklets, weapon and marksmanship manuals and postcards organized into distinct collections primarily by subject, media or creator. Regimental Archives staff compiled some collections, while others were collected and donated by individuals. Subjects include Regimental History, the Sicilian Campaign, Korean POWs and the Croatia Board of Inquiry. Individual collections include the W. E. Bastedo Collection, the B. A. J. Franklin Collection, the Letters of Major Stanley Jones, the L. A. White Collection and the S. Trache Collection. Media includes artwork and magazines. Photographs include the King’s visit, 1939, Ypres, Belgium and Albert, France.
