R.A. Muir and Sgt. J. Louis Robertson; report on the Battle of Canal du Nord (Sept. 27-Oct 1, 1918) by Capt. J.W. Edgar. Includes a diary (gift of Princess Patricia) covering the year 1918. Includes addressed postcards (Feb. 1915-Nov. 1916) largely written to Colonel and Mrs. Irwin during Lieutenant Irwin's convalescence and depicting scenes of Newcastle and Ramsgate. Includes 67 unmailed postcards showing scenes of France before and after the War.
