Military hospitals autograph collection
An autograph book was used to collect signatures, greetings, verses, sketches, and drawings of soldiers recuperating in military hospitals in southeastern England, 1917-1918. The hospitals referenced are No. 16 Canadian General Hospital (formerly Ontario Military Hospital), No. 7 Canadian General Hospital, and Princess Patricia’s Canadian Red Cross Hospital. The owner of the book may have been a nursing sister, a volunteer, or a patient, or its ownership may have passed among several individuals. The name “Pete Binquist” is inscribed on the inside front cover. “Sister Devitt” is referenced on page 43. Signatures include PPCLI members Leslie S. MacDonald, D.W. Fraser, and F. Weaver.
First World War photo collection
This collection consists of photographs of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) activities from the formation of the Regiment on 11 August 1914 to its demobilization from wartime service on 20 March 1919. Includes group portraits, and photos of unidentified individuals.

The fonds consists of photographic copies of 12 photographs of Willis Lumgair Clark during his service in the First World War, 1915-1919. Included are images of members of the First University Company at Niagara Camp, patients at Wharnecliffe Hospital in Sheffield, the Victory Parade in Mons, 1918 and the Guard of Honour following the War.
