Includes a presumed high school graduation portrait of Gordon Craig; and album pages showing Gordon with his friends, and training at Niagara-on-the-Lake with the 1st University Company. Includes a letter, Clifford T. Jones (brother of Maj Stanley L. Jones) to William McSpadden expressing appreciation for Craig's kindness to Stanley Jones while in prison camp.

Also included are 2 photographs of Lieutenant Gordon Smith wounded in Sicily, 2 of him sketching and resting during a bivouac, one of his friend Capt. George Corkett; an obituary of Rowan Coleman; a 1996 photocopy of regimental history pages which mention Gordon Smith; and 3 messages delivered to Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry while enroute to and after landing in Sicily, June/July 1943. Includes 4 photographs of wartime paintings, an autobiographical sketch, and a reminiscence on the invasion of Sicily. The John Henry Richardson fonds covers two distinct periods, his military service and his activities with veterans’ tributes and Korea pilgrimages after his service. He kept extensive news clippings for the time of his service in Korea and through the 1950s, as well as numerous well-labeled photographs from this period. He also kept key service files that provide an outline of his career progression including courses taken and qualifications earned, as well as dates of service. CWO Richardson collected a number of records from Korean pilgrimages in the 1980s and 1990s and veterans’ reunions. He also kept articles and scrapbooks/copied stories concerning his military peers. The fonds also includes a scrapbook/diary possibly kept by a family member documenting the early years of the Second World War.
