Geof Crossman fonds

The fonds contains Geof Crossman's obituaries; 2 photographs of him at the Canadian Airborne Centre, 1987, 3 photographs of the Regimental Museum Staff, 1998, 3 photographs of Warrant Officer Crossman at the Military Collectors Club and Gun Show at the Mayfield Hotel August 1998 and 5 photographs of his retirement party. Textual records include 63 various Canadian Army training manuals, booklets, handouts and binders on parachute procedures, weapons, mines and vehicle identification, an Airborne Association Kitshop catalogue and the Warrant Officer's and Sergeant's Mess By-laws, 1994. Also included are 13 maps of Canadian Forces Bases and training areas and 1 Croatia battle map.

John Henry Richardson fonds

The John Henry Richardson fonds covers two distinct periods, his military service and his activities with veterans’ tributes and Korea pilgrimages after his service. He kept extensive news clippings for the time of his service in Korea and through the 1950s, as well as numerous well-labeled photographs from this period. He also kept key service files that provide an outline of his career progression including courses taken and qualifications earned, as well as dates of service. CWO Richardson collected a number of records from Korean pilgrimages in the 1980s and 1990s and veterans’ reunions. He also kept articles and scrapbooks/copied stories concerning his military peers. The fonds also includes a scrapbook/diary possibly kept by a family member documenting the early years of the Second World War.

John Graham Wallace Mills fonds

The fonds contains Wally Mills's obituary and elegy, military certificates and Military Cross citation (1943-1969), Israeli driver's licence (1969), song sheets, regulation manuals, trooping programmes and 98 photographs chronicling Mills's military service. The photographs include some images of Lance Corporal Mills in England in 1942, the Second Battalion in Germany 1953-1955, Recruit Classes from May 1964 to February 1967 and group photographs of the staff at the Canadian Joint Air Training Centre from c1959 to 1966. Also included are a collection of photographs of an overseas United Nations tour, probably Pakistan. Includes a hand-made poster presented upon his retirement from Edmonton Public School Board (1984).

The fonds contains some of BAJ Franklin's personal and family papers, subject files, manuscripts, newsletters, self-published pamphlets, files on individual Korean War veterans, scrapbooks, visual material, and military manuals compiled or collected by BAJ Franklin including photographs, nominal rolls, personal accounts, and news articles covering many diverse topics such as the Korean War, Korean Voluntary Service Medal, the First Canadian Parachute Battalion, Special Air Service Company, parachute training, training exercises, military discipline and dress, troopings and parades, the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Band, arms training, turbans, women in combat, base closures, and training accidents. Includes a pictorial history of the Special Air Service intended for publication, The Airborne Bridge. Includes papers of Pilot Officer N.R. Fraser (1943-1946), Flight Officer A. Franklin (1940-1941), and Pte Leslie A. White (ca. 1948).

John Harrison Mullett fonds

The fonds contains John Mullett's service papers and souvenirs of his tour of duty including foreign currency, information booklets, maps, programs (for ceremonies, sporting events, and cultural events), invitations, menus, ration cards and leave passes collected by Major Mullett during his travels through England, Italy, France, Brussels and Holland 1943-1946. 14 battle maps have been transferred to the map collection.

The album consists of photographs of PPCLI Headquarters and A Coy Trooping the Colour, physical training display, concert party, and annual church parade. Loose photographic images include a group portrait of officers at Currie Barracks in 1940-1942; Headquarters and A Companies trooping in 1939; Trooping the Colour at HMCS Tecumseh in Calgary in 1947; and an officers' mess dinner in Calgary in 1969. The fonds consists largely of self-produced booklets of reminiscences and photographs detailing the military service of Murray C. Edwards. Included are descriptions of his childhood in New Jersey and Vermont; enlistment and officer selection during the Second World War; the Battle of KapYong, Korea, 1951; returning from Korea 1951; trans-Atlantic ship travel; courts-martial in Germany, 1954-1955; peacekeeping in Cyprus, 1964; and peacekeeping in Israel and Syria, 1967-1968. Includes correspondence with friends Hub Gray and Tom Rockburne, and a proposed address to the Senate of Canada regarding a proposed National Korean Veterans' Day; correspondence regarding official recognition of the heroism of Lt. Mike Levy at the Battle of KapYong (2016). Includes photographs from the Korean War.
