The file consists of a typewritten and photocopied book-length history of the 60th Battalion, C.E.F., the Victoria Rifles of Canada, which existed from June 1915 to April 1917.

The collection consists of biographical sketches and résumés of senior officers and senior non-commissioned officers of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI), as well as a few notable war heroes and other personalities associated with the Regiment. It became customary in the Canadian Armed Forces to distribute résumés of the careers of senior officers for purposes of reference. Appointments or retirements of senior officers were often publicized in media releases containing biographical information. The PPCLI Regimental Museum collected these résumés and media releases, as well as newsclippings and other types of biographical articles.

The collection consists of printed materials produced by the Royal Winnipeg Rifles: 75th anniversary historical pamphlet (1958); announcement of re-dedication of the Volunteer Monument and granting of the Freedom of the City (1968); Centennial program pocket edition (1983); One hundredth anniversary [souvenir program] (1983); newsletter: The Devil's blast / The Royal Winnipeg Rifles Association. - Vol. 8, no. 3 (1990 Sept.).

The fonds consists of the pages from a scrapbook which documents Bill Summersgill's service in the 2nd Battalion, PPCLI. Includes a series of photos of parachute training, Canadian Joint Air Training Centre, Rivers, Manitoba (April 1957). Includes newsclippings, programs, invitations, and tickets for ceremonial events, such as Trooping the Colour, Army Day in Edmonton, Pachino Day, Lady Patricia Ramsay's birthday, the visit of Hamilton Gault (June 1958), Beating Retreat, Kapyong Day, and Sports Day in Camp Wainwright. Includes newsclippings and souvenir leaflets documenting military exercises, such as Ex Hotfoot, Ex Assiniboine, Ex Bulldog IV, Ex Quick Thought, Ex Snowbird, Ex Trojan Horse, Ex Thunderbird, and Ex Snow Chinthe II.

The album consists mainly of color snapshots of social events and conferences of the Saskatchewan Branch of the PPCLI Association. The collection consists of custom-bound volumes apparently intended for browsing by visitors to the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Regimental Museum during its early years (ca. 1953-1966). They consist predominantly of textual records, including newsclippings, correspondence, programs, tickets, songbooks, photographs, scripts for comedy sketches, and Mess standing orders.

The Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) Depot was established at Calgary in 1953 for the purpose of training soldiers of the 1st and 2nd Battalions, and overseeing administrative functions for the Regiment as a whole. In 1956 it moved to Edmonton. In 1968 with the reorganization of the Canadian Armed Forces the Depot was abolished, and recruit training was centralized at CFB Wainwright. In 1974 the recruit training function became the responsibility of the 1st Canadian Mechanized Brigade Training Detachment. In 1981 it was renamed the PPCLI Battle School. In 1997 it was renamed the Western Area Training Centre. This collection consists of photographs of the PPCLI Depot and PPCLI Battle School, as well as Canadian Forces Recruit School (CFRS) at CFB Cornwallis and Combat Training Centre (CTC) at CFB Gagetown.

The fonds predominantly consists of office files of Lynn Bullock, the civilian curator/archivist from 1998 to 2006; includes photographs, display design plans and renderings, volunteers' suggestion book, annual reports, exhibition catalogues, programs, and brochures.
