The collection consists of scattered issues of the Club's newsletter, The Piklee Post (1987-2009), the Piklee Info Bulletin (2006, 2010), and the annual report of the PPCLI WOs & Snr NCOs Club (Retired) for 2006.
The fonds consists of photographs documenting George Smith's military career, most of them from the Korean War (1950-1953); a scrapbook documenting his post-1950 military career, including 2PPCLI newsletters (1950-1957), newsclippings (1951-1982), programs for ceremonial events, autographs, North Korean propaganda, Japanese currency, and materials from PPCLI veterans' reunions (1964, 1976); a card autographed by veterans of the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment; 17 scrapbooks of newsclippings of military news and opinion, mostly from Calgary newspapers (1963-1996); and one file of loose newsclippings (1995-1996).
This collection consists of photographs of Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) activities from 1939 to 1945. The Regiment performed guard duty in England, and saw action in Sicily, Italy, and Holland. The collection Includes action shots, souvenir postcards, and group portraits created and collected by members of the Regiment.
The fonds contains qualification certificates, citation letters and newsclippings detailing the career of Ashworth Thomas Clifton and the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Korea. Also included are various photographs of parachute training, Arctic maneuvers and the First Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Korea 1951-1952.
The collection contains booklets and training manuals used by Luxford in his training and collected from other sources. Topics covered include Canadian military history, infantry training and small arms training. Includes a map of the Balkans.
